Conflicts of interest disclosure

SafeLynx Technologies ApS(“SafeLynx”) is authorised by the Danish Financial Supervisory Authority as a crypto-asset service provider (FT no. 10909) providing exchange of crypto-assets for funds. In accordance with Article 72 of Regulation (EU)2023/1114 (MiCA), SafeLynx hereby discloses the general nature and sources of the conflicts of interest that may arise in the provision of its services, and the steps taken to mitigate them.

SafeLynx acts as principal in all transactions. When you buy or sell crypto-assets, SafeLynx is your counterparty. SafeLynx is a member of a group of companies under common ownership, which includes Pay Set Limited, an electronic money institution authorised in the United Kingdom. A significant part of SafeLynx's customers are referred to SafeLynx by Pay Set Limited under a referral agreement, and PaySet Limited receives remuneration from SafeLynx for such referrals, consisting of a fixed fee per referred customer and a share of the revenue generated by the customer during an initial period. Certain operational support functions are performed by another group company, Cloud Innovations SRL, and customer payments may be routed through accounts held with Pay Set Limited.

These circumstances could give rise to conflicts between the interests of SafeLynx and its group, on the one hand, and the interests of SafeLynx's customers, on the other hand. SafeLynx mitigates these conflicts by onboarding and risk-assessing every customer independently and irrespective of referral source, by applying standardized,non-discriminatory pricing to all customers, by not being under any obligation to accept referred customers, by entering into all intra-group arrangements on arm's length terms and in writing, and by maintaining a conflict of interest register that is reviewed at least annually. Referral fees are paid by SafeLynx and are not charged to customers. Further information about how SafeLynx manages conflicts of interest is available on request via support@safelynx.io
